How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the WeatherTech ImpactLiner on our 2020 Ford F-150. Generally speaking, when you own a pickup truck and you actually use your truck, it's a great idea to protect the finish of your bed against scratches, scrapes, and all the things that can damage it, and that's when having a liner is gonna come in handy. The ImpactLiner is very sturdy to protect your bed. WeatherTech uses a laser measuring system to match all the contours of your bed, and that's one of the cooler things about the WeatherTech products in general. They're gonna be an exact fit once it actually settles in. We just pulled this one out of the package so it hasn't quite settled, but if you give it a little bit of time, it'll lay flat and flush with all the contours of your bed. more

The TechLiner is one of the nicer bed mats that are out, just based off of the materials that they use and the process in which it's produced. It's made of a thermal plastic that's gonna work no matter where you are using your truck. If you're in one of the colder parts of our country or one of the hotter parts, the desert or Alaska, these guys are designed to work with those extreme temperatures. Another really cool thing about the way that it's made, it's molded to fit exactly the contours of your bed. So it's once you have it adhered and installed to the bed, it's gonna basically fit like a glove. more

So the impact liner is the newest liner from WeatherTech that has a slightly different style. It is still thermoplastic that's gonna hold up against the elements, no matter if you're in a hot climate or cold climate, and also protect the value of your bed. But this is designed to give you a little bit more protection as far as impact. Along the whole bottom, you're gonna have the impact rings underneath that are designed to absorb shock, so when you have those heavy loads in the bed of your truck, as well as create some elevation for airflow. As far as the fit in the bed, it is laser measured to match all the contours of the bed. more

The WeatherTech is a great custom option for protecting your tailgate finish and a good product to go along with the bed liner itself. This is laser measured and custom fit to all the contours of your bed. This is gonna give you a nice, thick level of measurement against the finish on your vehicle and a durable coat to help you load onto the back of your bed. With the thermal plastic production process, it fits specifically to the contours of the vehicle and it's gonna give you a nice measure of protection against the UV light that's out there. If you do not have a tonneau cover, it's also going to hold up against the elements pretty well against rain, hot temperatures, and cold. more

Now a bed mat is a great way to either protect your stuff or protect your truck bed. In this case we have a bare bed, no liner or anything in it like that. Now, it is curled up a little bit because it does come to you rolled up, so you might want to set it out in the sun for a little bit so it stretches out or lays flat. The two most popular are carpet and rubber, which is what we see here. Now the best one for you is really going to vary depending on how you want to use your truck. If you don't use your truck as an actual truck much, you maybe just want to keep some more fragile items in the bed, that you want to keep them safe, and that's when you'd be looking at a carpeted bed liner. But if you're really going to be using your truck, maybe for a job, it's a work truck, or you just find yourself constantly hauling yard items or tons of heavy stuff that you're just throwing in the bed here, you definitely want the more durable rubber bed mat. more

This is the TechLiner Custom Fit Bed Liner for our 2018 Ford F-150.This is going to be a full coverage bed mat here. It's not going to be anything like the spray-in liners, but it's going to provide some nice protection for our bed. We all know about Ford's aluminum bed and how it gets knocked for being noisy, and you dent it up pretty easily. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Westin Custom Fit Truck Bed Mat on our 2020 Chevrolet Colorado.Now having a truck bed mat comes in handy for a few different things. You can see here, our truck already has a spray-in liner, which definitely helps protect the truck. But what people don't think about, once you put our gear back there, or even if we get in the bed of the truck, if you've ever been in a bed that has a spray-in liner, it becomes very stiff and almost like sandpaper once it's fully cured. So if you have really sensitive material that you put in your bed, it potentially can start sliding around, end up getting scratched. more

Now, a truck bed mat is going to do a few different things for you. You can see, we already have a spray-in liner inside the bed of our truck, and that's going to help protect the truck. But have you ever been inside of a bed that has a liner in it, or if you put gear back there, once that liner cures, it becomes extremely hard, it's very gritty and it's almost like sandpaper. So you can feel good about that. And your knees are going to thank you too. They're going to feel good because these spray-in liners are extremely abrasive stuff. It's really hard on your knees whenever you're crawling in and out. more

If you have a bare bed or a spray-in liner, they're going to be a little unforgiving. Especially the spray-in liner, they're extremely tough on your knees and everything else that you put in the bed of the truck. Also if you have a bare bed, it might be kind of smart to protect it. BedRug Custom Truck Bed Mat Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
What's going on, everybody, Adam here with etrailer today, we're going to be taking a look at the bed rug, custom fit truck bed mat on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.This bed rug is going to give you a nice flat surface and what really helps that is the foam and how they have it shaped.So it is going to sit real nicely into the ridges in the bed of the truck. So between that and the custom fit, it's really not going to move a whole lot.There is a lot of hook and loop fasteners that we get with the kit. So once you find exactly where you want it, we can go ahead and put those hook and loops down and it'll stay at nice and in place.If you have a spray in liner, they're extremely gritty, really hard on the knees, this super, super, not gritty, very comfortable, it's just like carpet, but it is going to give you a lot of the resistance that some rubber would.Just because we do have the foam and then the carpet it's going to resist all those spills and stuff. It's not going to stain or fade over time.So that's always nice. Even if you're using this to haul mulch around, really dig a flat blade shovel, and you can actually go ahead and just kind of toss everything out.It's not really going to get hooked up on the carpet. So don't be weary to buy this, if you really do use your truck for a lot of other kinds of gardening and stuff like that really don't have to worry about it.But one thing I would really add if you're going with this bed mat, might as well just get one for the tailgate.There is one on our website, or there's going to be a two piece or one piece instead of a two piece, so it'll just be one massive piece.It will kind of fill in that gap. more

Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer today, we have a 2020 Silverado 1500, and we're going to be taking a look at the Dee Zee custom fit truck bed mat.So first things first let's go ahead and figure out which side is going to go towards the cab of the truck. That's the one that we're going to put in first, and it is going to be the section that has the smallest amount of material on the one side of the wheel well space there. So I'm going to do this by myself. You guys have an extra set of hands that might work a little bit better, but it is definitely possible by yourself. Back it up, pull it up, get it working into place. We aren't really seeing the best fit just because we do have a drop-in liner as you guys see, but it still is going to get what we want. more

Westin Custom Fit Truck Bed Mat Review - 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Hi there, Ram owners. Today in your 2016 Ram, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Westin's Custom Fit Bed Mat. We're showing it off on a 6-1.2' bed today but they're also available in a 5-1.2' and an 8' version.When you get your mat, it is going to come rolled up. Unfortunately, it does come rolled up kind of inside out so we can't just unroll it in the bed, but that's okay. We're going to go ahead and just cut this off right here, being careful not to cut our mat. It's a pretty rugged mat though so you likely won't cut through it with a razor knife, but just be careful anyway.So we went ahead and opened it up here and it rolled out. more
